Suzanne:
I'm choosing Dallas, TX because it's more convenient for me to travel to - since I live in Santa Fe, NM. Glad to hear that the big 5 are choosing to stay put in LA, though. Love visiting, of course! In all fairness, if I decide to move out of NM, I would have some difficulty in choosing between LA & LV. Las Vegas is less expensive when it comes to lodging & easier to navigate than LA. Depending on where I move to in the near future, Dallas remains attractive. Santa Fe is getting to be too small for me - in spite of it's many pros.
There are always pros & cons.
Still: I think that your question is an interesting & valid one. Love your blog! Nice presentation!

Great information Suzanne! I couldn't agree more on your point about quality, honest, heartfelt writing when it comes to blogger reviews. As a small game manufacturer with a limited marketing budget, I developed relationships with many bloggers for product reviews and giveaways. It took time and money to develop the relationships, provide them with product, set up contests and giveaways, and make sure winners' prizes were shipped when promised. While most reviews I received were fabulously and engagingly written, there were more than a handful that were simply cut & pasted content from my website, press release or sell sheet. A definite disappointment, but an important lesson that you also point out ... It' not about the number of followers, it's the quality of content.
