- Conceptualize a strong marketing strategy to outreach Mommy Bloggers with children in the target market of the Squinkies customer.
- Create a buzz surrounding Squinkies TOTY Nomination in order to win the 2010 Toy Industry Association’s Girl’s Toy of the Year for Squinkies™ Cupcake Surprize! Bake Shop toy.
Execution & Results:
- Introduced an organic marketing campaign by using social media platforms to spread awareness about the Toy of the Year competition and to help Squinkies™ win the majority vote.
- Our incentive throughout the Toy competition offered Squinkies™ Facebook fans an entire Day of Giveaways of Squinkies’™ Cupcake Surprize! Bake Shop Toy if we won the Girl’s Toy of the Year.
- On February 12th, 2011, we were notified that Squinkies™ won the Girl’s Toy of the Year award!
- We told Squinkies’™ Facebook and Twitter fans that we would be hosting the day of giveaways on February 18th 2011.
- On the Day of Giveaways, Squinkies™ Facebook fan base increased from 6,000 fans to over 14,000 in one night!
